A flagship project for this successful Regional exhibitor, incorporating an 18-screen theatre (including an IMAX) within a multi-use venue with banqueting facilities and home to the new corporate head office.

Martek was selected to build and install three concession stands, each with separate self-serve drinks and condiments areas, and two box offices, together with a guest services/concierge desk, based on an innovative set of designs and unique fabrication proposals. From initial concepts to final installation, Martek created a dramatic service environment in the atrium lobby, using translucent solid surface materials in three dimensions, and also supplied proprietary concession equipment, configured to optimize operational efficiency at all times of the week.

The IMAX concession stand was designed in a complementary yet distinctly different style, with a patterned metallic façade and a vibrant translucent solid surface countertop.

Self-serve drinks and butter topping, pass-through popcorn merchandisers and mobile popcorn poppers all contribute to a concession facility that works even better than it looks.
